Chappell's, Fine Foods Ltd has been supplying its customers for almost 40 years and has a reputation for quality, reliability and service built on a range of traditional high quality products lovingly made by a skilled, experienced work force, managed by a caring employer with family values, using honest and honourable methods of conducting business,

The Chappell's name comes from the company’s founder Mr David Chappell who started the business in 1972 and was joined by his wife, son and daughter who all worked in the business with him.  Although Mr and Mrs Chappell have now retired, Mr Chappell’s son, Phil, is still making pies today and Mr Chappell’s Granddaughter, Lisa, joined the business last year.

With a generations-old secret recipe and multiple awards at the East of England show, the pies soon became the flagship product known for their quality and taste.  Over the years, the company expanded its range of products and services offered to its customers and in 1988 expanded its manufacturing premises.

Still today, each authentic Melton Mowbray Pork Pie is made to the original secret recipe using the finest quality ingredients.  Our pies do not contain any artificial additives and are baked as we believe the most excellent food should be.  All Forryan’s pies are baked to order on the premises to ensure total freshness on delivery.

We constantly receive many requests from all around the world from people who want to know where our pies can be sourced overseas and last year we began to export to Hong Kong and Continental Europe.

Today, through our fleet of temperature controlled vehicles we supply many high quality farm shops, delicatessens, butchers, retailers and sports clubs.  In addition we also supply the foodservice sector.  Whenever possible we will always try to supply our loyal public but on occasions it is not always feasible to do so.  However, in such cases we will always try to point you in the direction of your nearest stockist.
